Please enjoy the four Japanese seasons on Honshu island.
A Japanese landscape scene is like a pretty picture postcard.
The cherry blossoms of Kasagi;Yatsugatake mountain covered with snow in Spring;Autumn in the Shinano area.
The train runs in the highlands about 1432M [a mile] above sea level.
This photograph is of Nobeyama station, JNR (Japan National Railways).
It is the highest railway station in Japan.
I want to re-visit this place one more time.
But, at the same time, I'm afraid this place might be changed as much as everywhere else.
I get itchy whenever I look at this picture.
I still remember very well the day that I photographed this scene.
The air was thick with mosquitoes, and they were very troublesome to me.
If you travel on the Iiyama line, you can enjoy the three seasons of tree blossoms, which usually covers a time span of three months, all in less than an hour.
I got on the Iiyama line, and the flowers of the cherry blossoms were blooming in the first station, and after a thirty minute ride, I saw the flowers of the peach trees.
After another thirty minute ride, I could see the flowers of the plum.
This is, of course, due to the difference in altitude where all these stations are located.
Two D51 types passing each other.
It is springtime, with a light snow still on the ground.
Osaka, where I live, doesn't get much snow.
It does snow around Suzuka, however, about 100 km [50m] miles east of here, which is famous for its Formula One car race, held in March every year.
